How to Adjust Your Cabinet Doors on an Overlay Cabinet
Adjusting your cabinet doors can be made easy with these six way adjustable hinges
To make these adjustments, you will need a #2 POZQ screwdriver. A Phillips screwdriver may be used but is not recommended
Adjusting your doors will allow you to have a consistent gap between the frame and doors of your cabinetry
To adjust your door left or right, find the screw closet to the door and rotate it
Reverse this process to move your door in the opposite direction
To adjust your door up or down, locate the screw attached to the frame on both hinges and loosen them with the #2 square drive bit
This will allow you to manually raise or lower your door
Once you get the desired position for your door, tighten the screw on one hinge and check the alignment. If the position is correct, tighten the remaining hinge
The in and out adjustment will fix any flushness issues you may have with the doors in relation to each other
Locate the adjustment screw towards the back of the cabinet and rotate it to bring your door in or out
Reverse this process to move your door in the opposite direction
All cabinets come standard with Blumotion hinges which allow for a soft closing door. This function can be toggled on or off by flipping the soft close switch.
You may need to toggle one or multiple hinges to achieve the desired closing speed you want. Door size and weight may also influence the closing spped
After a switch has been toggled, close the door to reset it, open the door and you will notice the door will close faster or slower depending on your configuration
